First drop of the night and it's another version of the PJ clone, closer to what it should be and I don't know if I am getting more discerning or my attempts are getting more random, but it doesn't seem as good as earlier batches

It's good beer but not what I was expecting.

I have to respond to the remark about my tiny tin by showing that my tin can be just as big. I don’t think I’ve had this one before but it’s very good. This one is hopped with Amarillo and Citra and the beer is more aromatic than L&D. Only 5.2% too.

No I don’t do kits. It’s all-grain.

I was trying to keep it cheap just before Christmas, so it’s just golden promise, with some centennial and mosaic I found in the freezer. Also a dash of cascade that needed using up.

I have these i may leave the King goblin until tomorrow as at 6.6% its the strongest, i think Old Peculier to start followed by the Tribute which i haven't had for a while then probably a glass or three of my home made wine to finish the night.

Tonight's my ideal starter is a pint of my English Bitter.
A good tasty lowish gravity beginner.
SWMBO'd said that she would start with one of mine - provided that it was a good and tasty one.

So she's having Hoppy Pale Ale of Kent.
Probably as much alcohol in that half as is in my pint of Bitter!
They're both going down at the same rate, so that's a then.

Ah! Yes, that’s a great observation, there’s no fizz on the tongue from the carbonation.

Which is a shame but means I will have to stock up if they aren't being replaced. I would think vault city will drop different flavours.
