@foxbat @Hazelwood Brewery Gelatine added to Irish Red this morning. I’ll report back in a couple of days
It could be the molasses you are picking up may be from the soft brown sugar I used to carbonate the beer. Was planting out my cabbages this arvo, got some rain. A good excuse to call it a day and have a beer.
Eskdale's remaining bottle of Baltic Porter caught my eye, though the weather isn't cold at the moment decided to drink the remaining bottle as I have my own Baltic Porter planned for next week.
Carbonation is spot on as is the ABV can still detect some molasses, just faintly. Only a sipping beer, saw off a triangle of Stilton with still about 150 ml to go. An excellent example of Baltic Porter.

Game on!Just trying my competition tripel. This has improved since my last try. Happy with carbonation and clarity. No alcohol burn at all, nice head retention.
Over all I am happy, looking forward to the feedback

Looks good. My saison has good flavour but not so much the head / lacing.
My Saison might not be to everyone's taste. It's hopped with hallertau blanc, so not really traditional.Looks good. My saison has good flavour but not so much the head / lacing.
Sounds great, wish I could give it a try. I will defintely brew up a batch at some point. My Saison might not be to everyone's taste. It's hopped with hallertau blanc, so not really traditional.
Mine is flavoured with Rye and Indian Coriander. Not sure how traditional that is eitherMy Saison might not be to everyone's taste. It's hopped with hallertau blanc, so not really traditional.
Version 2 is ready to bottle..I just haven't had the time. I upped the abv, version 3 I plan to up the fermentation temperatureSounds great, wish I could give it a try. I will defintely brew up a batch at some point.
Well, that's a beer that passes the eye taste test. How a beer should look, shiny and bright instead of briny and *****.Having a nice clear pint of Red in Dublin while the gelatine works it’s magic back at home.
