Now it’s @samale triple. I was asked not to hold back on this one so I won’t
The bottle opened with a nice hiss
It poured with a nice foamy head that had stayed around the colour is lovely.
The first sip gave me marmalade and a very typical Belgian spice/phenolic aftertaste that makes me smile. It’s dry but at the same time sweet.
Each sip tempts you back in to see what else is hidden it it’s depth.
This is a very very nice beer. Well brewed well presented and very well received.
The abv is 9% and there is no hint of that apart from a slight alcohol burn on the first sip.
As it sits on the pallet it delivers hits of orange coriander and clove.
I really really like this beer a cracker and thanks for sharing.

Your the first to taste this one, the plan is to enter it into the LAB competition. The carbonation has only hit the scale I was looking.

What’s you typical ph ? That’s the biggest factor I’ve found with my hop utisation
Now your getting too deep, I actually have a pH meter under the sink somewhere. I haven't used it yet and I bought it about 3 years ago after reading strange Steve's water report

My ph is around 6 so I need to bring it down a bit. It has a massive effect on how much hop aroma / flavour your beer retains. But drinking your beers you couldn’t tell.

4.30 pm here now, kids off with my ex for the weekend. I don't think it would be to outrageous to crack a frothy and relax for the rest of the evening. Only have two types of beer in stock at the moment Amber Ale and Baltic Porter. Quite warm today so Amber it is.

Try adding some acidulated malt or citric acid/lemon juice as this will bring it down a bit.

Luckily cloudwater told brewdog to stop making them months ago. Must have been sat in a warm store for months
If that's the case then cloudwater has damaged it's reputation. Really poor, I had similar of beer 52 on a discounted box which is fair enough. I knew I was buying beer that was past its shelf life.

I want to stay here all day but we can’t as we have lunch booked somewhere else. Time for one more though, so Jim has a pint of E, and I have a juice forsyth. The stout tastes just like a chocolate digestive, and my one is just pure mango, both sooo good!
