A glass of the Naeb’dy Aboot v 2- still has an annoying chill haze despite 2 weeks at -0.5 C which is annoying. Tastes pretty good though, a malty sweetness with a balanced bitterness, still tastes crisp as well. The lack of clarity is a pain though. I’ll give it another month at normal fridge temp before sending it in for the LAB competition. I really don’t want to add finings.

Sounds nice Ann. I have two entered as well, a tripel and Saison. I am just bottling the saison tonight

A pint of Butcombe Goram Zero at lunch as I was driving. Decent. Probably best alc free beer I have had in a pub. Much better draught than bottled. Actually resembled beer in body / mouthfeel.

Now home at drinking St Bernardus Pater 6. Originally purchased so I could try a Patersbier. Turns out it is a dubbel. Oh well, I like dubbels.

It might be hazy but it's still a damn nice looking beer!

El Dorada IPA, brewed by @phildo79. Weighs in at 9% and brewed with the Pliny The Elder water profile and its eye watering SO4 addition. Fantastic beer, the hops, malt and bitterness are all balanced. The bitterness is surprisingly subtle and soft, the high ABV is in no way apparent, the mouthfeel is soft with a great length of flavour.
Excellent brew, thanks for sharing it :hat:
