Birthday beer...
You're not giving them a chance....just skip the kegging and swill them straight out the fv.Well it's a bit chilly out so asked 'er indoors to help me get a few beers to save journeys ( and get sympathy for me to get keezer brought into house ). So left to right, IPA 1 week in keg, porter conditioned and stout 1 week in keg View attachment 64084

Cheers mateOnto a dark lager. A schwarzbier from @dave_77
A cracking pint. Looks like a stout but drinks like a refreshing lager.
Diacetyl is buttery and a product from incomplete fermentation, DMS is corn and comes from insufficient boiling of the wort or slow chilling to pitching temp.Haven't got a pic, but jim is having one of his citra and centennial IPA's. We've diagnosed the funny smell as diacetyl we think, The corn smell is coming out. It's not undrinkable though. Actually quite nice if you ignore the diac.
Happy birthday Clint. Every years a bonus.Yup...another year older. Just a few tonight...getting plastered tomorrow.
So explain “raw” beers. Ie no boil no chill and them coming out ok (never did one but I know a man who has)Diacetyl is buttery and a product from incomplete fermentation, DMS is corn and comes from insufficient boiling of the wort or slow chilling to pitching temp.
Read this firstAh! I've got him to go pour another one cos I don't know which one it is now of those two things! What a hardship for him

Make him suffer.Ah! I've got him to go pour another one cos I don't know which one it is now of those two things! What a hardship for him
Ask @samaleOooo! A challenge!
It’s the heat that produces the DMS so if you don’t heat the wort…
Mind you, raw, why would you?
