Was “payment” for a job for a local small brewery a triple choc chip and marshmallow stout 11% or there abouts and I got it before it went into an oak barrel of brandy or port or something can’t mind exactly what now but it was amazing sweet dark syrup nearly needed a spoon for it

Have to call in with him tomorrow so will see what’s what. Brewery not fully set up yet but that stout was going into barrels for a few months so won’t be bottled yet I would say.

There was a third one he had before Christmas that was also very good but only had a small amount of bottles he’s that decent a bloke I got a few bottles to try when I called in with him. Hates to see you leave without a doggy bag

Choc chip marshmallow stout ....

Man that brewed it said they had massive amounts of fresh choc chip cookies 3 or 4 kg I think and a kg of marshmallows all in the mash and the sparge took for ever as it was soo thick. Very sweet and not one to have a sesh on but damm nice and above and beyond anything I could even attempt.

Always wanted to open an off licence there and call it
Muff liquor
Always loads of people going there to get pics at the sign and radio 1 had Scott mills doing a segment there where they visited the muff barbers

Last one for tonight. I don’t normally drink on a Sunday night but as I was in the other room to escape bridgerton I had a few. My Irish extra stout with 200g caco nibs added to the boil very very nice. Excuse the Belgian glass I can’t be arsed getting a proper stout glass out

A bit lively but bloody nice, simply pale ale with a good citra dry hop, it’s off to the shed for a few days to calm down
