Trying @pilgrimhudd dark Saison.
Pours well, nice white head which lasts. Carbonation on the low side for the style. Dark brown/red
Aroma,. Light spice/pepper, light dark chocolate. Not getting much hop aroma
Flavour, much like the aroma, medium bitterness, medium mouth feel.

I was not sure on this beer to start with. The more I got into it I started to enjoy it. Personally I prefer a light golden Saison
What's your thoughts on it, as always thanks for sharing 👍

I’m moving on to a guest ale next. This one is a stout from @UKSkydiver.

Nicely presented and with good info on the label. Beautiful red cap - I’m a sucker for red 🤭

Softly carbonated, black, nice off-white head that quickly settled as a ring of bubbles around the glass.

Aroma is what you’d expect for a stout with mild chocolate, more coffee, a little bonfire toffee, roast barley, and a touch of creaminess which I guess is from the oats.

Flavour is mostly the same as the aroma with a little sweetness and a little alcohol warmth. Bitterness is mild becoming more apparent in the finish.

Nice beer bud, looking forward to the next ;)

So I don't normally drink at all midweek.. but treating myself to a glass of my favourite and rather special red since I've just discovered the secondment job I'm in is dependent on someone else being successful in their job application. I hardly know them but I'm raising a glass to her hopeful success.

Raising a glass to that too 🍻🤞

The campervan is nearly done, now hopefully I'll have time to get some brews on... Just realized I'm nearly out so a quick brew2bottle order to pick up tomorrow whilst enjoying the last bit of Sun
