Then had a qpa, not sure what that means but a cracking cask beer. The wife found me so I fed her a mulled wine.

Whilst her back was turned I made a run for it and ended up at beer craft, now we are taking. The plan was 1/3 beers, but not sure why I only ordered one. An electric bear beer.

I soon realised my mistake so flagged down the bar man for 2 more. A neipa by pollys and a milk stout by Hammersmith. The pollys must have had sabro and was best beer of the day.

This is a part grain part extract bitter which falls lamentably short of the bottle's original contents which were excellent.

Having liked the outcome, I pulled the trigger and bit the bullet etc.
I will be needing the 10L polypin for racking the Brew underway atm. anyway.
So last night I pipe transferred the Hoppy Pale Ale of Kent into the 'Meh' Saaz Pale Ale poly through their respective serving taps.
Result!
Which is my starter for tonight, my Pale Ale blended beers.

MASUMI SAKE

.............. no, me neither.
A subtle astringency and a fragrance reminiscent of young Fuji apples.
Well, that's what it says on the box.
Much like a slightly fruitier Manzanilla sherry, same alcohol at 15%, yes very enjoyable.
