Got a box of 24 of these delivered today. They were €1 a can roughly in a Black Friday deal with the brewery. Hadn’t tasted them before but the white hag do consistently good beer and I’m not disappointed. Chocolate vanilla and coffee as described and 6.5% gives it a good body.
They also threw in this one as a bonus. I will leave it to the weekend I think.

Tonight’s adventure starts with stout.

Two Hearted APA first taste. Only 18 days in the bottle but I had to try the teeny 25ml clear glass tester bottle. Pretty nice but obviously too green. Carbonation looks good and as clear as a bell. I'll leave it a few weeks now but it's got potential.

Next up, the Muntons Hazy IPA kit everyone raves about. Again too young but OK. Probably the last kit I will make. No satisfaction to be honest.

Going back to my wines that I’ve aged for a year - today we have my rhubarb and raspberry. This is one of my favourite flavours. It was very tart when it was first done but now it’s so smooth and gorgeous! Such a shame there’s only one bottle!

I’ve put some in a small bottle for my DIL and Jim and I will share the rest! Bon appetit!

A very early try of my latest attempt at a Neipa. Glad to report this is an improvement, mouth feel and colour spot on. Tastes nice but green, just need to work on aroma. This has talus citra and Simcoe.

Unfortunately over carbonated, nice aroma but the carbonation ruins it.

Picked up a selection of 330ml 4 packs in Tesco to keep myself interested in a hotel for work. Good to see Hawkshead doing these, they weren't bad. A good middle ground between the traditional styles and the newer. Vocation was very very nice.

All drank warmish without a fridge l, have no doubt the Hawks Head would have benefited hugely from being cold
