I was given a bottle of Dark Rock Session India Pale Lager which as you can imagine is a hybrid. Not bad at all but it needs to hit the back of the tongue to get the hoppiness which means it only takes about four gulps to down it!

Yeastie Boys Gunnamatta Earl Grey IPA. Haven't had this for a few years. Rather tasty but I wouldn't be able to pick the Earl Grey notes in a blind tasting

That's my usual tactic at beer festivals. Ask for a half and get 3/4s.

We had our local airfield hold their annual display, nothing more head turning than hearing a merlin engine over head.

Simcoe and Citra pale ale, I kegged this end of July but bottled a couple. Trying this for quality control, last one has your name on it @pilgrimhudd.
Tastes as good as out of the keg and well carbed but not got the same clarity.

This is @dave_77 Trappist Single, apologies for the time I've taken to drink it!

This is bleddy lovely, dry, bitter, well carbed, spicy floral taste and aroma, lovely golden colour, clear with a head which lasts. A perfect trappist single in my very limited opinion, really enjoying it. Thanks!

Back home tomorrow, been a fantastic fortnight thanks.
Lots of walking, fishing ( a few bass on lures ) and swimming. Sea is still remarkably warm, around 16 degrees.
Dogs are whacked out, we're all ready to get home now !
