Flavour is good but it’s hard to say whether it’s as good or has started to fade. If it has started to fade it’s not obvious.

After a broadside, these are my last two of the night, the milk stout, really nice, smooth, slightly vanilla aroma but not taste,more chocolate, really good. The northern monk is foul, can only think it's off, tastes like cabbage, awful.

I'm sure I've liked it before, sure it was diacetyl. It had that so of veggie taste to it.

Back in Wales and it's seriously hot. This is my AG Yorkshire Bitter which has been rather disappointing possibly because of an over diluted mash but annoyingly in this weather actually tastes better when less chilled but what is needed is a cold drink so the next one will be chilled shop bought!

In London for work. Five Points Pale Ale in the pub where I'm staying. Served ice cold from keg. The last quarter pint was quite nice once it had warmed up. The first three-quarters could gave been just about any beer served marginally above freezing.

I seem to recall that Exmoor Gold was one of the earliest beers of its type in Britain and that the label proclaims that. Beautiful sunset and here is last night's near Machynlleth.

On this now a bit bland and not much carbonation, I get the apple, hop is bodicea drinkable but not for me
