Next up is a hazy IPA from Left Handed Giant.
Only half as old as the Pomona Island at exactly 1 month old, but much darker, sweet tasting and the hops seem muted.... think it may be oxidised
Not unpleasant but a bit meh

I’m having another American Pale but this is a DIFFERENT American Pale. Only 4 weeks conditioned so still has a slightly bready taste to it. Needs a little longer this one.

Hump day over, time for Something Good (8)

This beer went out of date mid December, but was only canned mid September.... I wonder what it was like at it's peak because I'm really enjoying this. Chinook, Simcoe and Enigma hops, and West Coast yeast. It's clean, a little citrusy and very piney.

Defo improved since kegging but I won't be rushing out for more Riwaka.

They do this in 5 litre kegs on their website, although they're out of stock at the moment. Sometimes I'm in that area so I will definitely look out for it. Wish I'd got more but I did the 4 for 6 deal in tesco. Nothing else came near it from what I got, imo.
