Citra simcoe is lovely, add some mosaic and it's my go to ipa.

Another Belgian amber while waiting on what looks like thunder. It’s 19c and smells like ozone. Wife’s inside watching love island Im sitting outside between showers. Bliss.

Kveik IPA, another juice bomb but comes with a load of esters. Not sure where I am with Kveik, I enjoy the occasional one that pops up in the Beer52 box, but I haven’t been inspired to brew one yet.

I have one in the keg and though I haven’t tasted it in 2 weeks it was nice when last tasted. Hops shine through and orange taste I’ve had before had faded into the background. I find it easy in summer when fridge is tied up it can be left to work away at whatever temp

I’ll have to order a selection in and devote a weekend to trying them out. I like the idea in principle but need to try a few different strain/hop combinations. This one is ebbegarden and cascade/citra/Amarillo. I think all those tropical fruit flavours are fighting with each other a bit.

Wee change now with a Stewart brewing radical road tripple hopped ipa lots of grapefruit pine and citrus. Loved it when I was in Edinburgh lovely beer

That’s my thoughts exactly! This beer either needed a good clean west coast ale strain, or the kveik needed bright zesty American hops. I am liking the idea of an exploration case but.

Funny you should say that. Yesterday I dry hopped my Kveik Pale Ale with 100g of CML NEIPA mix which is made up of 25g of each Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo. Smells really good.
