I’m going to have this next. It’s a beer from one of my favourite breweries but it’s a style I struggle with. I know exactly what this is going to do to me so I’m going to rope my wife in too.

Well it's hot 35c so I broke and bought a couple suitcases of cheap american lager to hold me off till the best bitter finishes up carbonating.

This one is ok reminds me of bitburger for some reason?

Chateau Lafite Rothschild ‘89 … or back in the real world, Puligny-Montrachet ‘18 premier cru - but to be fair, it is a very fine wine indeed

I took a photo of my wife as she took a sip but out of respect and decency I’m not going to post that. I’m happy to describe it though

Tip you head forward so your chin is pressed hard against your chest. Close your eyes really tight. Now, press your lips tightly together and bring the corners of your mouth up to your ears. Finally give a little shudder. Now you’ve got it!

Just putting another brew on. Stocks are low. Belgian IPA with hallertau Blanc and mosiac. Using the last of my wyeast 1214.

See now that’s where retirement and age go hand in hand. I’m not sure I could do a six-mile run and then get a brew on.

Stout is beautiful. Soft, smooth, mouth-filling, roasty dark malt flavours…

I like chocolate, coffee, Tonka, vanilla, and all the rest but a clean smooth stout is *really* good.

I had lervig 3 bean imperial stout recently. It was lovely
I should get a stout on soon, it will be nice to try it of the keg

Call me a purist, but do you think that's a bit naughty of them?

I suspect the spiel was written by lawyers because the "and" after "orange" is disjunctive and after all there are plenty of citrus fruits other than orange though I agree it is rather confusing!
