This is the only beer in my delivery that's not super fresh, so I thought I'd get it out the way.
Canned back in August its showing its age ☹
Tastes like it might have been good when fresh.

Bit of a radical departure there from traditionalists TT ... So what did you think of it?
Hoppy pales are not my favourite style, that said, the 4 or 5 hops used gave it a nicely rounded flavour. At 4%, in a small bottle on a Friday evening it didn't hang around long. It would make a good summer afternoon beer and was more to my taste than many heavily hopped pales I've tried.
Now onto a bottle of this (3 for 2 had two of these) I drank the first one on NYE. It was too cold and I wasn't overly impressed. Served warmer there's a pleasant roastiness, a hint of Cocoa and it's very drinkable.

Getting near the end of my Oatmeal stout, brewed late November. It’s really hitting its stride as I’m looking at a dwindling supply of bottles. As I’m never going to get more patient, the only solution is to brew more. Got a Munich Helles lagering and an Amber Ale fermenting. Need to line up another brew for 1st weekend in Feb.

Staying roasty... No Cocoa, but sweetness and smoothness. 3.4% with a flavour intensity that I'd usually associate with a stronger beer.

I always love it when I can find a lowish alcohol beer that actually tastes decent, and after brewing a fair few batches of my own I have come to the conclusion that low gravity session beers are surprisingly tricky to get right.

2nd beer of the night is a west coast hazy from @dan125 . Attractive looking beer, good carbonation. Strong pine and citrus aroma. Smooth bitterness but definitely more than a NEIPA. Hop flavour is pine and citrus. Really nice , more up my street than a NEIPA as it has a good level of bitterness. Cheers mate🍺

Agreed, wasn't sure if I had another one or not. Found one hiding at the back of the shelf in the shed. A bit cooler, still good :beer1:

First of the night is @Hopsteep Groundswell English style porter
Nice level of carbonation, dark but not black like a deep red when held to the light. Nice thin head which lasts
Aroma is sweet malt with a light fruit aroma.
Taste wise matches the aroma, really interesting fruity note. Looking forward to hearing your yeast choice. Sweet malt with light chocolate. Bitterness and carbonation is spot on.
I really enjoyed this, it wasn't the beer I was expecting. Thank you for sharing
