Looks like Samale already beat me to this, I am currently enjoying @Hopsteep s groundswell English porter.

Pours a bit lighter in colour than I was expecting, dark brown and brilliantly clear. Perfectly to style though.

Aroma wise I get a nice rich malt, a bit of caramel and chocolate and some dried fruit.

Flavour is a malty and rich with some chocolate and raisins. Has some roast that sticks out in the end and a decent bitterness that accents the roastiness. It's light on the palate when drinking maybe a tad too much carbonation.

Overall this really is a good porter, I really enjoyed the nice balance of chocolate and roast. It has a ton of flavour too for the alcohol content and is dangerously easy drinking. The last half I swirled out some carbonation and did in fact like it better with less carbonation, it is smoother the whole way.

Thanks for sending this and I am super envious about your canning system. Do you can from a keg?

Thanks @Pennine for the kind review, glad you enjoyed it!

I can from primary using a beer gun and then prime with table sugar- everything has been can conditioned so far as I've not built up the courage to have a go at canning under pressure from a carbonated keg!

Having a few commercial beers today... For the empty bottles 😅

First a Lagunitas IPA which was wonderful, probably my favourite IPA as of today

Then onto a Blue Moon with some homemade pizza. The coriander and orange is nice, but I've had better wheat beers

Time for a nap!

Prepping for DIPA brewday in the snow tomorrow with a Fest Bier. Never knowingly had one of these before but really enjoying it.
Malty but crisp and the H blanc is giving it a subtle white wine character. Quite bitter too for a lager.
acheers.

Nice, I really want to try a Donzoko beer as they seem to be getting alot of praise at the moment.

I really enjoyed it, lovely flavour and so light. I was expecting a typical porter. Dark roast but this was subtle and we'll balanced.

MO and Goldings SMaSH. This is my favourite of the two. Tastes 'cleaner' than the brambling cross one I had yesterday, which seems ever so slightly musty. Although that does seem to be lessening with conditioning time.

Celebrating slipping a Grainfather Connect and a snub nose fermenter past the fun police today after promising the rest of my bonus to cover her livery bills.

One of the last couple of bottles of Coopers Hefe, its not really a hefe as I used pale LME instead of Wheat malt extract...

Its only labelled as I was giving some away to family members and they get confused when I initial the bottle caps.

Next up for me the Woodfordes tinsel toes kit I never got round to doing in time for Christmas. This is passable albeit I prefer my beers with Christmas spices etc in December.
