Trying to get two kegs cleaned and ready for kegging tomorrow was made a lot more difficult with torrential rain and a garden like mud pie.

Luckily I had a couple bottles of BIPA to get me through it.

Brew dog double hazy hardly any aroma strange mix of hoppy dry and cloying mouthfeel. Not a great beer but at least it’s very hazy

Kegging my Talus pale tomorrow so thought I would sample this to see if I can pick out the Talus.

No I have actually not, I always preferred a california common as they are pretty similar. My favorite alt bier from my few visits to Dusseldorf was from Schumacher. If you can find it I would recommend it I think I drank 10 of their 250ml from the brewery last time I was there. Zum schlussel is really good too.

Here you go hallertau and tettnang. not sure about the malts but I'd say pilsner 85%, munich 10% and 5% cara munich. Maybe a touch of roasted malts for more color if you want. Not sure about the yeast but maybe wlp036, I would say k97 but I am not a big fan of it although it does fit the style.

38 days since bottled and very happy with my second all grain bitter
Have another batch planned for tomorrow using Challenger for the first time for bittering.

I have a nice Czech amber lager on tap at the min. I am really impressed with it. Normally I am not a fan of lager's
