After a month off.. this is hitting every spot

First up one of my favourites from Time&Tide, Manfred.

had a weird bug last couple of days. attempting rehydration with something light. brewdog duo-polis.

Also from Time&Tide, this 8.2% sour. Last time I had this it was so sour it was not only mouth puckering it drew my ar*e up to my elbow. Yep, still does!

While I’m all puckered up I’m going to try this berry sour. Not had this one before.
Yep, this one hurts too! Where my jaw bone hinges, it hurts so bad

In the Goodrich brewery beer garden.

Another try of the German pilsner...this has been in the shed all night...super carb and head retention. Tastes great!
First beer outdoors too...me and Mrs Clint have spent most of the day clearing the green house planting seeds and massacring our unruly garden borders. Took the dogs for a quick run now enjoying the light evening and listening to the noisy frogs in my pond.

Sounds like normality again. We planted spuds had some drinks outside and had lunch inside. Can't wait to get totally back to normal.

Bloody Helles who'd have thought when I brewed boots kits in the 80's I could brew a Munich Helles this good. Thank you people for your advice.

Have you a recipe please? You should chuck some of that red malt into it...

Well I was being good with Whittard's extravagent Earl Grey fuelling a day of work at the computer, though I'm rewarding myself with a Tripel Karmeliet for having written up the draft directorate objectives for 6 months. Not all that sure about it, the maltiness reminds me of beers I used to make from extract.

Next up this Kriek. It’s only 3.5% so it’s really a cherry flavoured soft drink

I’ve never had one of these, always been a bit put off I think by it’s low alcohol. It is a really nice cherry flavoured drink though and if you like cherries you WILL love this. I was just a bit nervous given the bottle was both corked and capped but it’s actually quite softly carbonated.
