Drowning my sorrows absolutely dismal from Liverpool, maybe squeeze one more glass out this on
That one was more of a brown ale than an amber and they said it was a Belgian not a good example of either. Try devils backbone from kinnegar to see how it should be done.I tried this & thought it was grand. Clearly I don't know enough about Amber Ale
Can you recommend any good Ambers that are available locally? I need to investigate further.
What will I be drinking in 2 weeks to celebrate being vaccinated and being half a stone lighter from my abstention?

What are you brewingSmall brandy for me while I wait for the brew to drop to 75 for the next addition of citra. Bloody cold brewing in the garage at night so the brandy will warm me through.

Got a 65l digiboil boiler at Christmas and first time using it. So much easier than my old 30l boiler. Brewing to 25l so I have enough to keg and some left over to bottle for the first time in years.
Going for a no chill this time. Will wrap it in a sleeping bag and leave it overnight and transfer to fermenter in morning. First time I’m going to use oxygen to aerate the wort as well.
Yes mate. Bit of a pain in a 30l boiler used to dunk sparge big beers but lots of room in the 65l one. Problem is now that the boiler is a lot wider than my last one and the bag dosnt fit round the rim. Possible new bag on the horizonDo you do BIAB
