All my lights are on timers and come on at 16:00 - it was still light! You must be a bit further away from the sun

So after a nice warm quad in the belly and two pints of water. I am trying out a Cantillon geuze for the first time. This bottle only cost me about £15 as I had to find a cork puller too. It smells delicious malty and like a barn. It's very sour though, super light on the palate and the barniness lingers after. Almost like a bitterness should but there is no bitterness.

I was gonna save the dregs but I'm sure any more?

I've had my first secret Santa...other thread for review.
Next is the Forum Brew choc stout..it's been in a pb for well over a month in the shed. It was under pressurised as expected due to the cold so I gassed it and out it came...pours with a thick,off white head, immediate aroma of coffee and chocolate...it's debloodybeautiful!
Luscious in fact! I must let it warm a little...

Perhaps indecently hasty in sampling my Festival Summer Glory, but after 24hrs in barrel it's already carbed
- hazey but very tasty with nice dry finish. Has an elderflower addition at the start then dry hopped
with Crystal and Cascade.

Their is a local Turkish restaurant I normally go on Christmas Eve, alas it was takeaway only but happily they where able to sell me a few bottles of Efes draught to go with it (something about Efes Just goes well with flatbreads and meat cooked over charcoal.

"Shipwreck" - An 8 year old cider brandy from the Somerset Cider Brandy Company.
Aged in oak barrels from the MSC Napoli, shipwrecked in Devon in 2007.
My boss kindly gave me a bottle today.
I'm still in two minds as to whether to open it, or put it away for a few years...

Good point I should qualify that and say my favorite commerical Czech pils. And funny enough it's brewed in the UK. it's not really Czech anymore either.
