A mango gose from local brewery, Electric Bear. Still undecided on the style. I think I prefer fruit Goses with a bigger kick of acid, be it from a more acidic fruit or the brew itself. The saline character is more prominent here. It's very drinkable but not sure it's my cup of fermented malted barley.
Had a few electric bear in the past, decent beers 🍻

Started with Arundel Brewery Tarrant Street followed quickly by a Bison Beer See Side APA. Very pleasant.

Opened an Electric Bear Coffee Sour as my entree for this evening.
Very nice, not what I was expecting - which is always nice with a new beer.

Coffee sweet whilst still being sour if that makes any sense...
It has thrown quite a yeast which is currently sitting in the bottom of the glass, chewy deserts!

A reminder that need to make this my next brew. Mind you 2.50 a bottle a bit steep.

First beer of the night provided by @dan125 . Tasty easy drinking Amber, good looker too nice and clear. I have been told the hops are American, seems to have taken on the profile of something more Englishwink...View attachment 29429
Incredible isn't it? I don't know where they went. I know it was a 30L batch but it's more like a bitter than an American amber ( hop schedule below)
Maybe the 15% crystal mutes the hops???
I think the take home lesson here is - always dry hop your beers :laugh8:

I like their coffee sour although it took half the can to decide! Had a few tins since and it actually seems to get better as I develop a taste for it.
 
My own challenger bitter after 3 weeks in the bottle, it's going down quite nicely if I do say so

I'm very surprised I didn't really pick up those hops from a whirlpool
