From hearing my uncles stories about my dad walking the dog was basically a euphemism for going to the pub (still true today though you need a well socialised dog).

I’ve seen this in action on more than one occasion - and with actual dogs. Quite often the dog gets a bowl of beer as a treat for keeping mum!

It was the man in one of my local pubs who came in with a couple of King Charles Spaniels one of whom would proceed to drink from his pint. The man in, question would then think nothing of drinking the rest of the pint. Nice dogs they may be but I‘m not willing to share my pint with them.

That's an interesting beer out of Lidl IMG_20200621_172937709.jpgIMG_20200621_172945097.jpg
Big hit of orange of it.

Oh yes the small ones are the worst..

Yes, he had lots of interesting habits. One example, he would sleep under the bed of our youngest, get up and **** in the bedroom of our eldest, and then return to peaceful slumber under the bed of our youngest. Eldest would wake the house as she stepped out of bed in the morning and the sticky stuff squeezed between her toes. I thought it was hilarious but I was in the minority. 😂

Just the job after taking the mutts for a trample...

Spent much of my youth in Buxton but the most popular drink back then was Buxton spring water. It was FREE and poured continuously from the natural spring at “the crescent”. At one time you could even be served a shot glass of spring water by a girl in a nurses uniform. I was SO thirsty back then! 😂

Tonight is Shipyard IPA (currently being supped) which will be followed by Lidl Green Gecko then a Marston's Old Empire IPA. Followed by bed, as it was father's Day, I was allowed to **** off out on my bike for hours without any complaints or time restraints. My father's Day smart watch says I managed 60 miles so I'm happy. And knackered. :laugh8:
