I see the party is already in full swing 🥳

I’m starting tonight with this Courage ale and I’m actually quite liking it, maybe a bit of nostalgia creeping in!

One from the archive crate. This was a bit of an experimental brew using Morello cherries. Photo doesn't really do the deep red colour justice and it had a nice white head when I poured it which dissipated all too quickly. Have overchilled this one. Its quite tart and nice and fizzy (testament to finally sussing out how to use Blichmann gun properly) - imagine the 6.5% ABV could sneak up on a man as its basically like pop.

Sounds nice...and dangerous! 🥴

A progress snifter on my Horners 999 barley wine. It's been conditioning for ten weeks and is nice and clear I reckon could be pretty special by Christmas ( ifvtheres any left)

I nipped to Aldi earlier and this happened to make it's way into the trolley! Very pleasantly surprised! :beer1:athumb..

(Of course when I say nipped to Aldi, I mean waited in the queue outside for half an hour and then dodged everyone within a 2 metres range whilst trying to interpret the wife's complicated shopping list :laugh8::laugh8:)
A well deserved pint I think!
