Tonight I have sampled my Blue Heeler Bitter, (take off of Yorkshire Terrier Bitter with Aussie base malt) not to long in the bottle a little over a week, nice head with little carbonation as yet. Good hop bitterness, I did go for the limit according to style. I like it, then again I like all British beers.

Just looking at the photo again your right not the ideal photo, holding my glass up to the light it’s a very dark Amber. And as for GH this was my first time trying one of his recipes, but I can see why he is so popular.

My Festival Summer Glory Golden ale, clearing now.
Dry hopped with Crystal and cascade, lighter than the IPA's I usually drink.
Citrusy and floral from initial elderflower addition but still bitter with hoppy dry finish.

Having a Bear island IPA by Shepherd Neame first time trying it and the head lasted about 30 seconds,very thin on the mouthfeel and the hops seem more bitter than I would have thought but shall finish it for sure.
