Hops galore, hops haven't faded at all!

All this stout talk is making me thirsty, so I am thankful @samale sent me his version of a t58 imperial stout.

Pours jet black with a little brown head that dissipates quickly has a bit of carbonation as it bubbled up after swirling.
Aroma is roasty, coffee and chocolate with some yeasty bread and rich malt. A hint of campfire.
Taste is sweet caramel malt with a solid roast character, a bit of spice and clove.
Mouthfeel is nice and light and not at all coating. It drinks like a lighter bodied stout.

Thanks for sending this, based on memory this one is a bit different than the one I brewed. It seemed a bit lighter and also a tad more roast. But it's quite enjoyable and went down way too fast. I saved the other half of the bottle for tomorrow. There is definitely some alcohol in there as I can feel it, even though I didn't get any of it while drinking.

I mashed lower on your recommendation so my FG was lower resulting in a lighter beer. Overall I am happy with it. I actually enjoyed it better when it was young. It had more chocolate & vanilla flavour. It's changing each time I try it. Definitely one to try again 👍

The very, very last pint of dry stout out the keg....I got No 2 son on pb tilting duties in the brew shed...
Pippy the JRT is very interested in the pork scratchings and is now my best friend....Mrs Clint says it's because they smell like the dog treats in her shop...

Can't beat traditional English grub with your stout :laugh8:

This is my first beer since Sunday, which is a long time for me, so starting with this Kveik Session IPA. The flavours are great, loads of pineapple and mango, but it's just a bit thin and watery (I suppose that's sort of the point of a session beer though).

Having a cider with Thai curry this evening given to me a few months ago by @Hazelwood Brewery, apologies it's taken a while to get round to drinking it. Crystal clear (as all your brews are) and it's nicely carbonated. To me it's more like a sweeter Somerset Cider. It's a pleasant apple sweetness, but definitely more towards sweet than dry. It's going well with the Thai, my personal preference is when they are really dry and not as sweet but enjoyable all the same. Was it a kit, supermarket apple juice or have you been pressing apples?

Had a few beers from Garden Brewery in the past and always found them consistent good.

It was a kit and came with the option of dry or sweet. My wife is the one that likes cider though and she likes it medium sweet. It looks a bit flat in the picture, these are normally quite effervescent.

Satisfying to see so many stouts being supped. Would be a shame not to join in. A bottle of my St Peters cream kit, brewed in May. Sadly only a handful left now.

I did buy the kit again recently and need to give some consideration to how to make the most of my fermentation space this weekend.

While bottling my London to Munich winter ale (left) I thought it was time for a well deserved Proper Job after a good day with work and a 4 mile walk with a friend.

Not the most exciting beer on this thread, but there is something that is just 'right' about it

Don’t apologise for your beer. Many of us like a Proper Job, Doombar, London Pride, Timmy Taylor’s, etc.
