Palate cleanser before the Belgians arrive.

felt like it was a good night for a belgian rye ipa from @samale.
I am getting some nice belgian spice, some fruity esters, alcohol and the a hint of the rubbery phenols I usually get from t58. As it warms up I get a little more cloves and a bit of a medicinal aroma.

taste is an interesting and enjoyable mix of a belgian trippel mixed with a weizen bock. It's hoppy, more fruity than pine. And more than either of those styles usually have but overall well balanced with a nice earthy bitterness level that doesn't linger and there is a bit of alcohol kick at the end.

This one is a cool mesh of various styles that actually works pretty well. I was a bit apprehensive as sometimes crystal malts seem to mesh oddly with saison yeasts but this one was much more dignified.

Thanks for sending this!

It's always nice to try something different. I am actually drinking one myself now. Personally I got very little from the sabro. I think I may have to do a single hop beer with it so I can actually taste what it brings to the party.
Over all it's not a bad beer. 👍👍

good idea, I have a bit of it left and I am curious too what it's like. maybe a simple single hop batch in a couple weeks.
