I'm really new to beer swaps etc...picking out aspects of certain types I wouldn't know where to begin with...I suppose I could only report if I actually liked the beer or not...but then that wouldn't relate to the beer style..
I really enjoy beer swaps, nice way of trying styles that you might not brew your self. It also gives you inspiration to maybe have a go if you enjoyed it.

That looks the part. Is that from a keg
Keg/ nitro/ stout tap. Unlike my previous stouts head really lingers.

Trying out @Pennine hops galore NEIPA
This is a seriously juicy hop monster. Lovely mouth feel something that I have never managed to achieve. This is spot on for style, lovely beer to drink. Not a style I could drink a lot of as it's very filling. I actually thought you may of used some lactose but I had a look at your recipe.
Over all this is a great beer, it has some slight oxidation but it didn't have much effect on the flavour. As always thank you for sending 👍

Yep no lactose in that one, it was my first attempt at a 10g per litre hop stand and 10g per litre dry hop and it seemed to work out great. Next step will be to limit oxidation. However I am not sure this is possible with that kind of hop charge? Glad you enjoyed it it's one of my favorite neipa's I have brewed so far.

Did you make much water adjustments. This is an area I need to look at

hit the pub tonight so the following pints happened
Sierra Nevada pale ale
Adnams Bitter
Staropramen
Adnams Ghost Ship
Shipyard pale ale
Humber doucy
Greene king IPA

In selfless effort to empty the keg to be repurposed for better use, a glass of the patersbier. Still not sure I like the phenolics but for followers of time and gravity its gone pretty much crystal clear.

Going to have one more go at a Belgian and if its no good thats it.

You need a kick up the a**e.....for the last one!
Ha the taxi arrived 5 minutes early so that was a chug and done. To be fair that is a local brew for me on the other side of the island and it was better than I remember.

Looks oxidised or is it your lighting.

I have noticed some are called nepa. Another fancy name for a hazy pale or is it because the abv is a little lower than a ipa?

Now, onto my drink. I had the best part of a pint of saison whilst pottering in the garage. Followed by a neipa, naturalist by gipsy hill, one of the best beers I have had in a long time.

Gypsy hill in my little bit of south London. Surprised they are distributing so far afield.

I actually used half my hard-ass water (bicarbonates=400ppm) for this one and half RO, here are the final numbers. It's surprisingly heavy on the sulfate to chloride ratio. I tend to prefer more sulfates and a lower mash pH.

Last one for me, an experimental (non sour)

cherry infused belgian ale from over a year ago, had hoped it would mellow but it just tastes like tart fruity beer. Not particularly well made despite efforts.

Looks really nice! Just change your perception and imagine you are drinking a belgian kriek.
