Sure, It is very simple, 1/2" copper tube into a t-piece compression fitting, on the vertical pipe compress the olive on to the pipe as normal but not too much, then remove the nut, drill and tap it so it will hold in any position on the thread by tightening a little stainless grubscrew. So now you can attach the vertical pipe to the t-piece, screw on the nut for the compression fitting but not tight and lock the nut in that position, the arms are the same copper tube with the ends crimped and 5 x 0.5mm holes down along them.
However I can sparge at quite a fast rate because of the surface area of the mash tun, this means the spinny is open to full bore from the pump. If I drop the flow by restricting the outlet valve from the pump the spinny will stop, there is hope.
I am almost finished spinny #2 which rotates on a foodgrade unlubricated ball bearing, I hope to be able to scource all the parts off the shelf so any one can put one together without special tools. This should fly around even from a hint of a fart near it.
Once testing is complete I shall post all the info for everyone to use.
Bru ;)
