Daft argument. You would eat vegetables to stay alive if you could find no meat or were too squeamish to slaughter and butcher your own meat. They'd eat it if they were starving to death...
Nice strawman there, I think you've purposefully missed my pointSo we agree. Getting enough protein and building muscle on a vegan diet is not impossible

M...do you like curries and the like? I think there's a big misconception with some foods in that they're bland or boring or unusual.
There really isn't anything I won't eat or try and I'll have a go at cooking anything too!
I know, the worst part of butcher spuds is cutting the eyes out..The Vegan Butcher. That's a great name for veggie food products...but then some soppy tree hugger would find it inhumane to be butchering a load of Maris pipers or a free range cabbage...
Hope they don't drink beer, murdering all the little defencless yeasties.... No seriously I saw a vegan once through my binoculars.
I used to be a powerlifter many years ago, there is no doubt in my mind eating animal/fish proteins, will always make you bigger and stronger than a non animal diet, strength gains and bulk wise. Not bodybuilding specifically but anyone who wants to get bigger or stronger, which if you've been in a gym recently seems to be a lot of people. Anyway, my point was not that it's impossible but simply that for certain people a vegan diet makes it considerably more difficult or expensive to get enough protein.
Ah OK, I wasn't sure cos it seemed like you were arguing against it being impossible.Perhaps not so purposefully. I understood your point to be that it's harder (and perhaps more expensive) to build muscle on a vegan diet?
