My train ticket is £23 return. They don’t care if I drive to the station or cycle to it, they still charge me the same! Why £20 ? You're going to cycle part of it, will be less. Current bike was £100, done 1000s of miles on it.
Now that's going to ruin his day.10p me home charge

10p kw my home charge
don't forget the congestion charge and car parkingMy train is 1 hour to Liv st and it is over 50 quid return. Cheaper and quicker to drive and pay
sitting here bemused at the stretching of reality.Wherefore art thou @lancon
This thread is about the expansion of ULEZ to cover all of outer London. Relatively few people travel by car into the centre of London and incur CCdon't forget the congestion charge and car parking
Well no point in posters quoting rail fares for stations within the congestion charge area? This thread is about the expansion of ULEZ to cover all of outer London. Relatively few people travel by car into the centre of London and incur CC
That'll be the stench of reality that Benfleet Brewery only pays 10p kw his home charge making the cycle and train journey you suggested both more expensive and more damaging to the environment.sitting here bemused at the stretching of reality.
That’s how most rail travel into London works unfortunately. A majority of the main line stations are within the CC zone so even if you don’t work within it, you often find you need to travel into it and then out again. Not the case if you travel by car.Well no point in posters quoting rail fares for stations within the congestion charge area?
Not in my experience, get off previous stop and change or cycleThat’s how most rail travel into London works unfortunately. Where is the reality that taking a car rather than train and cycle is less damaging to the environment.
He drives an EV which costs less than the cycle and train journey you suggested I don't know if all trains that go into London are electric if they are not then the EV is better for the environment and you don't get to work sweaty or soaking wet if the weather is hot or raining which is another plus.No need for this.
