Nope are there any additives surely as long as you simmer them first and mush them up can't see why not. It's great as can use about anything.

Oh and it cost less than a pub pint for 5l if you cock it up. And pubs often do that with your pint anyway.

We all gone quiet. No one brewing anything
Got 5L of Apple and exotic fruits TC ready for bottling tomorrow along with a pink grapefruit robinsons punch thingy.
5L of Apple and grapefruit bubbling away in the kitchen.
Used gv13 cider yeast fir the TCs and youngs super yeast fir the punch.
Going to back sweeten the ciders with stevia, is that what it's called? How much should I use?

I used the sweetened yeast that you used magpie and the difference it makes is crazy [emoji108]ðŸÂ¼ if I'm honest the Summer fruit one is amazing defo say that's my favourite so far hope it's even better once conditioned it comes out pretty clear as well which u can see from the picture ( third in from left )
With the S&L one there was a lot of sediment from the tined strawberries this went to the bottom , I chopped up a lime and placed that in my DJ and the flesh from that Floated [emoji85][emoji85] so I had to use a sieve to make sure I didn't get any in my secondary DJ but all is good it worked out fine. Not 100% sure that's it's as strawberry as I'd like but I managed to get some strawberry lowicz so primed it with that so fingers crossed
But 32 bottles of cider for under ã9 I'm happy with that [emoji108]ðŸÂ¼
I've got a summer fruits punch that's nearly ready to go aswell I've made this one a little less potent and less of the double concentrate as I doubt I could drink more than two of the last batch in a trot very sickening only used 750ml in this one

I bottled my rasp tc and kept it in the warm for four or five days, then into cold conservatory, it's cleared lovely and bottles are as solid as feck, so it looks like its carbed up, resisting them til xmas as they're not really for me, will get some pics tomorrow.

I've bottles 50 pints ruby ale 10l summer fruits hooch. 50 more tc half rasp half ordinary however primed a few with golden syrup. Just as experiment.

I had that problem too mrcwcb, with the sediment and pulp from the strawberrys. Didn't have a sieve to hand so managed to bottle what I could and binned the last bit. Not sure how it will turn out though.
Just drinking one now from my first ever batch, coopers larger, well happy with it and all the family are asking for some lol.
Looking to brew a wow in early new year as got some time off work to have a play... Also getting another larger on the go I think... Need to get some more demis and another bin I think

3.5l of AJ (farmfoods)
750ml of morrisons own summer fruits squash
Mug of tea
2tsp malic acid
1tsp pectalose
1/3 of a packet of sweetened yeast
Then batch primed with
30ml of raspberry syrup
35ml of cherry syrup

Golden syrup that could be interesting [emoji848] I've got the urge to use treacle but I'm unsure what flavours to go with it
Yeh was a bit of a nightmare but the sieve definitely done the trick mines isn't as strawberry as I would like I think see how it turns out next time I'll use the lowicz syrup straight from the start see how it pans out from there
Yeh I'll be getting a few WOWs on after then new year also as well as a good few new flavours of cider [emoji23][emoji23]
