Tips for minimizing early off flavours?

Thanks antony for advice.
Ive not had issue before but i used to ferment in my bedroom with quilt over it.
The fridge is an under worktop one and the sensor is in the dangling down in middle of fridge from the top.
I will start it at 18c in future and then up it slightly after afew days
