Having bought some pale rye malt I have decided to crack on and use it.. just doughed in
Having read that it can dry the beer out a bit I added some extra cara, mash is at 67c

50l @ 1.046

Pale Malt 8kg
Pale Rye 1kg
Caramalt 1kg

Hop schedule being worked but looking like..

Apollo 20g 70 mins
Cluster 50g 10 mins
Centennial 50g 10 mins
Cluster 50g steep
Centennial 50g steep

Hops changes as not as much Apollo left as I thought... also removing 10 min addition and changing to 40 mins, based on the success of a Bombay IPA inspired recipe and upping the steeped hops

Apollo 70 mins 8g
Cluster 30g 40 mins
Centennial 30g 40 mins
Cluster 70g steep
Centennial 70g steep

Should get 30 IBU :thumb:

Hope it goes well . 1 kg of crystal , won't that be a bit too much ? I find around 300g for a touch of sweetness and if rye dries it a little maybe double crystal wanted , maybe . :hmm:

What I didn't mention ( and have now added ) is that it is 50l - which I normally use around 500g in, so doubled it up :thumb:
