unforgiven - possibly the best western and that says a lot
true grit - the remake
310 to yuma (remake ) is watchable
appaloosa (remake) with ed harris is a real gem - excellent dialogue - vigo mortonsen shines
the proposition (australian) - a must watch very violent tho
the last confession of alexander pierce is another must see based on a true story
django is great. the dialogue is as good as it gets cause thats what tarantino was after. he a traditionalist and lovs the wetserns for the dialogue and the karate films for the action. django too is very unbeleivable in parts but its worth it for the action and plot and lines.

Some great movies and yes Unforgiven is still a good watch Clint gives an amazing performance in fact not a weak link in that cast and the finale set in the cold dark rain is night on perfect.

Fell free to slate me on this one but having watched them again the Young Gun movies have aged better than I ever thought the first is the better i think.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly movies have their charm as well

I seem to find holes in everything nowadays. Maybe I'm just too critical. Watched "grace" the other day, and just so many plot holes I find it hard to watch.

But I did like playing nice. Just finished it and thought it sounded plausible.

I’ve been banned from pointing out plot holes and continuity errors.

Re-watched Byzantine recently. I was just thinking to myself “she’s doing a good job keeping ahead of her pursuer in those high heels”. Next cut she was wearing trainers

this is one of the best final scenes in a western or any movie.

hard to find better.


also the line " he should've armed himself if hes going to decorate his establishment with my dead friend" is a classic .

the spaghetti trio is a great trilogy it really set the tone and is the standard to measure all others.
