But I'm stuck on how to get the sensor into the HLT, How have you guys done it?
I used a thermowell. You can use a thermopocket but they don't react as quickly as the probe is sheathed from the medium, that may not be a problem depending what is being used for.
Give Paul a ring at watch hill he'll sort you out.

Well delivery arrived today from Hong Kong, Not bad but I was expecting Ireland as that what the description said! Flebay say no more!! So got straight on with building and mounting the control box etc...

One thing anyone have access to a instruction manual for them?
Model N2006p - 612

Yes I think they are the same?
That site has gone
Found other references on other threads but also not accessable anymore
I have emailed them, so will have to wait to see what comes up.

Yippee  Have recieved full manual for the Pid's I shalln't post it cos of copyrights etc But if anyone needs a copy they are PDF's.

Been shopping for more goodies today, So back to the garage to finish electics off!

I have mounted and wired most of my ring main now each is a fused switch to control each element, 4 are the kettle elements in boiler and HLT, 1 is the pump, 1 is the kettle element for the Herms, 1 is the supply for the pids etc. As I work it, only 2 kettle elements will be on at any one time this will be more than enough to cope.
Tommorrow will finish of the wiring and tidy it up underneath, then down to my mates for some graphics to label everything up!
Still awaiting the Asparagus kettle...
Coil is made just need to fit it all out!
Damn and the backer element!!

MD did you run that scotsman pump with those fittings? only on my 2 i had to throw them away because the leaked more than the pump was moving. Very tasty work mate :D keep the pictures coming :thumb:

Yep run them since started no problems at all, no sign's of any leaks :) Did the 80c test with them, and 2 brews so far. Not bad as they only rated to 65c

What a fantastic job, well done  :thumb:

Could you post a close up of how you made the chiller please? I think ive got the rough idea but it would be really helpful to see how they are connected. Also what did you use to shape them?

Did you weld the castors straight on to the frame? Look forward to seeing the end results :drink:

Followed your design for twin coils and it colls a 5 gal jobby in no time. Got all the dive gear but no bottles so ended up using two old fire extinguishers, left me a little on the nervous side, one false move etc. :D

Want to see the sparry grass kettle when made up please :)
JP

Well here's the pic's you guy's asked for ;)
The brewery has been finished for around a year I did make another post with the added things but can't find that now.

One word for that buddy, the "s" word that should not be spoken lol

besides; pony's are purely for argon suit inflation on 3hr plus dives

You take things too serious Rick come play with us in shallow water and ride my MtB at the bottom of Dosthill for a laugh! I have also done loads of winter shots in full fancie dress in the bottom of dosthill! no Tanks on me just my buddy out of shot holding them for me

What bore tube did you use for your heat exchanger old bean?
I've some 8mm lying around from my cfc build but I was wondering if it was perhaps too small.
