I love the approach to spring. Get rid of this nasty cold weather roll on summer, supping cold lager in the garden with a bar b q what could be better :D

I noticed it was lighter much earlier this morning

Forgot it was the solstice yesterday, and I had brewed elderberry stout especially for the occasion oh well I will have on Friday with a glass of Malt whisky.

Cheers

Actually, the mornings are still getting darker.

The latest sunrise doesnt co-incide with the earliest sunset. Latest sunrise will be about the 26th while earliest sunset was already on the 17th.

Solstice is the shortest day which is inbetween the two, the date when the solar noon is at the lowest altitude - about 15 degrees where for the summer solstice its about 62 degrees........
