Mrs Snail has just left the room and gone into the Kitchen......................... I think she's just started to bake her CAKE
It might be time to give some thought to what brew you'll be sending out too

They just said that no host nation has ever been knocked out in the group stages, so Switzerland have broken one precedent today and it looks like South Africa might have the dubious honour of breaking another.

Possible brewday Monday, so will be my contribution to the final winner

With Henry and Cisse (whose had a cracking season in Greece) on the bench what do you expect.
Irish would of done better ;)

I don't Know about Cameroon, but at least the winner gets 4 pints of shitter bitter

Half time: England 0, Algeria 0

Yawn.

Tell you what though, we went round the pub earlier for a meal and a drink or three. The place was virtually empty and service was excellent.
Beer was pretty good too. :drink:

I think I can hear The Last Post Aleman.....?

I'm a lot more optimistic about the U.S.A. now, theirs was a much better game to watch, a great comeback from 0-2 down and they should have won 3-2, I think that disallowed goal was a bad decision.

What a bunch of overpaid, over-rated, tossers.

And the difference between this side and the 1996 side . . . Free European migration for work . . . so premiership teams can have as many foreigners in the side as they like, and with the Sky money being poured into the Premiership there are plenty of foreign players willing to come here to play . . . If the English FA Are serious about winning the World Cup they should say "you can have as many foreign players in your squad as you like . . . but you can only play 2 of them during a match" . . . There is no ban on them coming over here for work, but it would mean that we would see the development of English talent (Like Ferguson did at Man U before buying loads of foreigners to compete with the likes of Chelsea . . . and to win the Champions League)

I knew I was sending a bottle out when I discovered I had drawn England

I'm behind you 100% with that Aleman .. that should have been done a long time ago.

I'm meeting Frank McLintock next week, I think I'll moan in his ear :D

Breaking News:
England's final match in their group, probably their final match in this competition, will be Pay Per View only and has been moved to the Adult Gay Channel, as the sight of 11 a*$*holes being hammered for 90 minutes has been deemed unsuitable for mainstream TV.

Breaking news:-

Oxo are starting production of white stock cubes with a red cross on them. They will be marketed as laughing stock cubes.
