Been snowing on n off all afternoon here in County Durham, had a hard frost last night and it's currently throwing it down . . . (all together) . . .It's beginning to look a lot like. . . . . .
No Snow in Manchester, but then we don't get much snow just rain, Oh except last winter when we had 10" of snow in January. Took me 3hrs to get 6 miles to work. Why did I bother. :hmm: :hmm:
So far so good, hope we don't have last years farce, luckily (well I bought it deliberately :!: ) we have a 4x4, because our road was covered in snow, which turned to 4 inches of compacted ice for three weeks last year, some folk were totally stuck for the entire time, deliveries and the likes of internet grocery shopping was no good, they couldn't get up the hill from the estuary
We're heading up to St Andrews on Sunday from near Kendal S Lakes fortunately motorway / dual carriageway most of the way :!: It was a lot easier when Santa delivered the presents and the kids were little and still at home
