In my experience an Americano is usualy like a real coffee but with enough milk added to ensure that the coffee is almost undetectable. If the Americans want to own that sort of coffee then they are welcome. Personally I would find it embarrassing having such ditch water named after the place I live!Asking for a white coffee and being told it’s an Americano grrr I’m 63 and all my life it’s been white coffee.
