I use the method in that video too when I siphon, great way of doing it.

It depends on yeast as some Belgian ones are easily disturbed and come straight out the tap if I use one, whereas others don't.

I hadn't even thought about less flocculant yeast being pulled through the tap. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm still going to put a tap on the FV though, as I am fed up of syphoning.

STAINLESS STEEL RACKING CANE WITH UNIVERSAL BUCKET CLIP

I've cut two 5mm high notches into end of copper tube so that it can rest on the bottom of the filter and then set the height of the clip for a standard Wilco FV (of which I have three).

Saved myself a few quid there! :thumb: :thumb:
