Premium lager in bottles is usually around £2 for 660ml bottles.
Crabbies is ~£2 a bottle too for 500ml. Budvar is the same.
So yes, you are paying a markup.
But we're talking about 50p a bottle in effect because the bottling companies are charging £1.50 for an empty one and that's about half the price of a carp 4 pack of Carling Bleurgh.
