Initial fermentation raises the temperature exothermically, I always set inkbird slightly lower at the beginning to account for this.
If it's a particularly vigorous yeast like Verdant the fridge will kick in to cool and maintain set temperature.
It evens out after a couple of days with no need to interfere ime.
