Summer Brew and Swap - NZ Pale Ale

As did I, mine got down to a surprising 1008 making it 5.5%, very fruity taste with a mild citrus aroma.

I used CML Clipper with this one, and it finished around 1.006. Abv around 4.8%. Having dumped the dry hop addition into the kitchen bin last night, the bin is now smelling fantastic

Head is a bit disappointing but it could be due to the glass not being cold enough. Otherwise delicious, and if it stays like this I'm definitely in for the swap.

Had an email from verdant and they gave a NZ IPA available so I’ve bitten the bullet and ordered some.

Theirs uses Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka it’ll be interesting to compare, not a strict comparison as mine’s a Pale and probably uses a lot less hops.

The Verdant offering is typical Verdant thick juicy IPA hop bomb, however I would say the underlying hop flavour of mine is quite close if a lot lot less intense, which I suppose is closer to a pale ale.

I am going away in a couple of days for a bit then coming back but not staying long before going up to Wales for a stag, it'll not leave me much time before beginning of Sept, if we could sort who we are swapping to by wednesday though I can at least box up for my wife to post? If not, my swaps will have to wait.

As per previous swaps, each send 1 beer to the three people underneath them in the list, wrapping back round again. (ie SMP Brewery is sending to Tess Tickle, me and then back up to pilgrimhudd).
It's not Secret Santa, so there's no pressure on posting to meet a deadline. I'll open a review thread in the next day or two. Swap addresses amongst yourselvesand enjoy!
