Brewed mine today as planned - but there's always something! 😅

The vessel I've chosen to ferment in doesn't fit in the fermenting fridge, even though I was sure it did. Think I'm going mad. So I've had to ferment it with an inkbird and heat belt instead in my living room. It's also a bit stronger than planned. Going to have to raise my efficiency I think as I'm consistently hitting well over it.

Thankfully fermenting like this gives just as good results as the temp-controlled fridge does. 😁

A taste test of mine after a week. Not bad, just a little earthy at the moment.

Looks better than mine is going to be 🤣

Just dry-hopped it, after 24 hours lol. Gone from 1.050 to 1.016 in that time. It's getting a bit hot which wasn't expected as my room is cool ugh lol.

Will see how it tastes though, might be ok in the end. Airlock smells amazing, like sherbet.

Just finished brewing for this one. Bit of a tight turnaround as I need to bottle next Fri 😬. Have some lovely smelling hops, and the trial jar tastes great. Weirdly my pre boil gravity was 1.039 (very close to predicted gravity) but post boil was 1.041 🤔. Think I may have left the lid covering a bit too much and guess not lost much. Was a 60 min good boil. As I'm pushing to get this one done will worry about that another day. Just waiting for the temp to fall then I can pitch the yeast. I'm going to dry hop this one so really looking forward to how it may turn out🍻

So just put mine in the kegerator.

I'm seeing 1.008, any offers?

The temp swing doesn't seem to have affected it, but I'm just hoping and praying it doesn't end up with diacetyl, as my rye IPA was fine at kegging and then lousy later lol 🤣

That's looking a nice color 👍. Dry hopped mine yesterday and hoping to bottle mid week. Loving the smell of the hops with this one 🍻🍻

Mine is nice and clear now, looks dark as it’s in the garage and is a passable drink.

However with the left over hops I’ve just kegged the Pils I made. Hmmm think I’ve got the hops the wrong way round as this is what I was expecting the pale to taste like 🤣

This is the bit that didn’t quite go in the keg. It looked paler in the transfer tube.
