Bar of fruit and nut....pancakes with Maple syrup...and a lie in so far, just as well as my head is banging from drinking loads of beer last night. ..

I've also got an amusing t shirt...will try to post a photo later when my double vision subsides

A lie in, breakfast in bed, a lovely decorated card, a box of cupcakes and a voucher for a haircut & hot towel shave from a Turkish barbers.

Did well :D

My Mrs has been away all morning doing a triathlon, when she got home I was half way through a brew day, and she hasb't even moaned once  That's a pretty good Father's day pressie in my book

Three bottles of M&S single hop beers, Halletauer, Sovereign and Citra. :D

Nothing as I don't have any kids, and doubt I ever will.

I do have a dad though. Unfortunately he's swanned off down to Devon & Cornwall on holiday, and is infamous for leaving his phone off, while my mum is infamous for going on holiday and forgetting her charger, so I've no way of calling them and will have to wait until next weekend to give Dad a gift.

I haven't yet decided what to get him, as he's not an easy person to buy for. He has at least one of everything, and in many cases he has several - such as his four (!!!) lawn-mowers.

I got a 48 bottle rotating bottle tree  and a packet of polo's :D
Gotta love the wife and kids

I should probably note that this isn't through choice but through circumstance. No matter how hard I try I'll never get HWMBO pregnant (assuming there was a HWMBO) I have a disability that means I can't adopt, and there's no way I could afford surrogacy. Life's a bitch, eh? :(

Still, I know I'll be a kick-ass uncle once my brother and his Kate-Middleton-lookalike fiancee start dropping the sprogs :thumb:

I got a coopers English bitter and a wilkos golden ale plus a toblerone.
so cracking result.
as well as a card with. Dads homebrew beer mat On it
'(the wife's just happy I've got a hobby it's easy to buy for)

I had the usual card that my 16 month old has very kindly scribbled something nice on, plus a key ring with month of feb 2012 on it with the 4th circled and a not under it saying the day I make you a daddy. :D

Really does show I'm just a softy at heart sentimental as I am :thumb:

I got to work night shifts. Got home at 8am had weetabix kicked everyone out of bed. Got up at 1pm had Mexican heuvos (which is very nice). Got a card my 4yr old girl chose and wrote for me. Now I'm just waking again for my last night shift. So we're having Fathering Monday. Maybe we'll take up our new pursuit - Geocaching

@ iceo, I'd love to know how you can make a a hobby out of electronic cigarettes. :wha: :wha:

I thought the same when my brother started talking about it. There is a whole community out there that build and mod there Ecigs for whatever purpose. Have a look, you will be amazed.

My dad got a text as I am away and I never know where he is!

An afternoon of peace to brew up!

So far we have a Foresters Reaper IPA special edition (should be 6.6% if it ferments out fully), a Coopers Aussie Pale ale that I ramped up to 1.050 and two six bottle Wilko wine kits (Cherry and Elderberry) on the go.... :thumb:

Now if I can just make a little space under the table I'll get a Woodfordes on and It'll be a Wherry good day indeed!

No1 son gave me a trike bottle holder ( one of those things made of nuts and bolts and bits of steel) love it!
No2 son handed me a real ale wilko 2 can kit and a newkie brown and a copper bitter kit ( along with the other kits I have just got I have 35 gallons worth of beer kits to make :D )

And the wife got me 2 bottles of Trooper :D

An aeropress coffee maker and 4 bags of freshly roasted coffee beans from and irish artisan roasters. Tasty coffee, can't complain about that.
