I was up in Castleton at the weekend EB, not far from you. Started snowing just as we were leaving. Lovely.

For meeting, read "extreme **** up". Otherwise known as a microbrewers conference.

It was very good. We had talks from Chris from Whitelabs, David Quaid and Roger Protz.

Then got very drunk and the gits from Spitting Feathers thought it would be amusing to shave one of my eyebrows

Looks nice. We went the other way though, through Hope and down.

I can definately recommend the beer in the Old Cheshire Cheese.

Its still snowing well so hopefully we can get out tomorrow and build a big one :thumb:

it's really weird outside for me right now.

the glow of the street lights from town are reflecting off the clouds, which are reflecting off the snow... it's like dusk/dawn out... should be pitch black but i can see clear as day.... weird.

I'm glad your all enjoying the snow :thumb:

I hope to never ever see the stuff again. Ever.

Most of the snow has gone now although more is forecast for Thursday/Friday ...

The pavements are badly frozen over though so I just looked like I was doing a bad audition for "Dancing on Ice" when I was walking the dog  .. lots of arms flying around and the odd leg flying up in the air

pretty much the same story here...roads are now clear, but pavements are treacherous

4 inches here.
We live on a hill and was snowed in.Gritter never comes up our road and impossible to drive.Road is clear now, have to see what tomorrow brings.
Happens every time we get any substantial snowfall.

I woke up to nearly a foot of snow this morning.

There's no way i'll get my car off the drive so am working from home today

Still no snow here... I thought it was clouding over and getting a tad chilly earlier on today. But it turned out that it was the only cloud of the day. 28C today
I'm well looking forward to the weekend-wifey is pissing off to the big smoke for the weekend. So hubby will be brewing vast quantities of Ale(90L) and then i'm going game fishing on Monday.

Life's a beach and all that
