Hi guys, i;m just a beginner to this hobby, I am trying to brew wilco forest fruits, my fermentation has taken nearly 3 weeks, does this happen a lot?

my sd was 1050 and i have it at 1009 today but still bubbles appearing, do i leave it to run it's course or can you guys give me advice on it. thanks

How warm has it been kept? 3 weeks isn't out of the ordinary if it's a bit cool (or just cool overnight)
At 1009 it probably has a little way to go yet

I have it in my garage which has been made into a tv room
I only have a electric heater that is on a timer, when i check it at tea time it's 18 deg.

I have made a lager and a cider which i had no problems with 3-4 days and it was finished.

At 18 I'd expect it to be a little slow, but it'll probably be all the better for it.
Lager of course likes a lower temp.
4 days for a cider sounds a bit quick, to be honest - kit or what? My TurboCiders take between 10 and 20 days, depending.

I have a lager starting tonight , i will keep an eye on it, my cider was quick may be a week max, that might explain why it wasn't a success :(
I will give the turbo cider a chance, does using just apple juice, will it just taste like strongbow ?:)
I prefer the dry cider and not a fruity one, the forest fruit one is for my son ;)
Oh thanks for the speedy reply mate

It'll be very dry, and better than Strongbow. But I always add 1/2litre per gallon of notApple juice to round out the flavour - can be a bit uninspiring otherwise. Cranbery is may fave for that so far.
