i have got a sloe wine on the go, put the yeast in nothing happing.what should i do now.
the must is at a good temp, i have a heater in it.followed a recipe from the boots book.
help! :D

When did you actually start it, i.e. put the yeast in - perhaps it's worth waiting a while (say 24 hrs)? In the past I have had batches of something which took two days to get going .... What method/recipe have you used?

Sloes don't have anything in them to spur the fermentation on like beer or multi-ingredient wine does. If you havn't added nutrient, I would suggest some anyway, but you need to give a wine at least 5 days before you think no visible fermentation is a problem.
