I'd use 10g of Amarillo all the same, you might as well not bother with 0.9g as you won't taste it
 
Have plans to brew this in the next few months. I just wanted to know when the hop character is at is best. I plan to brew it for a mates stag and I have found with hoppy beers that sometimes they can lose the hop character if conditioned too long.
 
I usually start drinking mine a week after bottling and it's still good up to 6 weeks, after this the hops are declining.
 
I brewed this last spring and drank the last bottle at about 6 months old. The freshness of the hops did fade a bit over time but there was still lots of fruity hop character at 6 months. Pity I under carbed it!

So probably at it's best within a couple of months but still very nice later on.

I need to have it ready for the 22nd Feb so will brew it at the start of next year for quick consumption.
