So, over the lockdowns, i've been turning the garage into a pub of sorts, and accumulating entertainment out there for when things get back to normal - or if not, at least it makes it a fun room!

This means in the Hudson Arms as it's known, we have Cards of course, Dart board and raised oche, PS3 (I'm too cheap to buy a new one, old PS games are like a quid! great for a boozey evening) and my latest purchase is a table skittles set!

can't wait to get cracking playing that one.

so, what are your go-to pub games? Sadly I don't have room for a pool table (and the wife is more interested in us building a sewing room than to allow me to extend the garage/pub haha) but after some inspiration.

The darts board does get some decent use, but always after more fun games to add. I also need to find a decent card table.

Dominoes or Bones as we call them. 5's and 3's or 31 up were our games.

Darts: 501, 301, Round the Board, Killer, Mickey Mouse were the usual games.

You could try making one of these.
the bigger ones double up as a wet bartop.

Crib's good. Used to play table skittles, an "antique" table with skittles and cheeses went on eBay for £500+, don't often see tham, could make one I think. I have nearly been sharked at shove ha'penny, but that was a while ago.

Awesome suggestions. Think I’d need to extend the “pub” to do shuffleboard though.

See if you can pick up an old Nintendo Wii from a charity shop or online, great fun for all ages. You'll be amazed to see how in to it people get.

Ohh yeah we have a Nintendo wii, was great fun last Christmas on the cocktails and sonic olympics hah I picked up mario cart last week for a tenner with two wheels

Well the new table skittles had its first run tonight. Bloody good fun - we’re crap but it was fun. Need to find a veteran to advise on the setup but was fun

I do like the idea of the pinball type one, or shuffleboard, just need to design it in.
